 Are YOU our next Strategic Sourcing Analyst? 
As the Strategic Sourcing Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, you will work with the Strategic Sourcing team to support executing strategic sourcing activities and bring the best value for money to the organization. You will be responsible for administering and driving improvements to the Strategic Sourcing activities for the organization. Pre contract, you will analyze and report procurement-related data and calculate the total cost of ownership for goods and services. You will also coordinate with suppliers on an as required basis to obtain quotes and required information and act as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders. Post contract, you will support to optimize contractual agreements and ensure efficiency is delivered to various aspects of our operations.

How YOU will make a difference: 
  • Understand the business requirements by coordinating with internal departments and lead complex sourcing projects at the regional and national levels. 
  • Conducting supplier spend analysis on a regular basis and perform various analysis to get insights, and trends, converting data into meaningful information. 
  • Converting business requirements into solicitation documents i.e., RFP, RFQ, and RFI. Sharing solicitation documents with vendors and assisting the strategic sourcing team with the evaluation of the received bids/quotations. 
  • Support the strategic sourcing team in arranging meetings with internal technical departments and vendors for various business requirements.  
  • Conducting market research for industry trends and sourcing vendors for different goods and services.  
  • Preparation and dissemination of different category spend analysis and cost-savings reports for strategic sourcing projects.  
  • Updating and maintaining strategic sourcing project status reports and ensuring the report contains up-to-date information related to projects.  
  • Follow up with the internal business users for obtaining the required information and providing updates to the procurement team. 
  • Coordination with the strategic sourcing team to conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors. 
  • Preparing data analysis and generating spend reports. (25%) 
  • Provide assistance in preparing RFX documents and coordination with vendor for RFX process. (25%) 
  • Continuous market research to evaluate the organizational pricing positioning for various categories. (10%) 
  • Contract tracking (rebates/spend analysis) (15%) 
  • Arranging quarterly business review meetings with sourcing specialists and vendors. (25%) 
 
What YOU bring to the role: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or Business is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a strategic sourcing, operational procurement, or related environment. 
  • Advanced skills in data analysis are a must. 
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is an asset. 
  • Healthcare or life science-related experience is an asset. 
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel (Advance level). 
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques. 
  •   Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. 
  • Learning, flexible, and adaptable behavior.  
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple projects, and respond to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to effectively manage constraints and competing priorities. 
  • Strong business acumen. 
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrated success at building strong relationships and collaborating with a network of internal and external Business Partners and subject matter experts
