Position Summary

 

This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing vendor relations requests. This position requires a highly organized and independent coordinator with the ability to multitask and quickly identify potential issues and resolutions efficiently in a timely manner. This position works as a team member with the ITT Dealer group to provide support services for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and strategic thinking to execute a successful vendor relations program.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the latter stages of the sales cycle to begin framing the implementation agenda and procedures.
  • Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with internal team members as well as external vendors.
  • Ensure on-time execution of projects by close cooperation with suppliers and sales team.
  • Coordinate/Negotiate vendor contracts and new vendor set-up documentation.
  • Update and maintain CRM with vendor information.
  • Assists with the ITT conversion; create and send out cancellation letters to dealers and notify appropriate departments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently.
  • Supports all DEX departments with timely and accurate responses to the appropriate sales team, warehouse, admin, dealers, and other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Required Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Demonstrate an understanding and ability to utilize an ERP system

  1. Position requires extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs and the public image.
  2. Completes additional tasks and assignments as requested by Program Manager.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m.

Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
