JOB SUMMARY

 

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for following up on identified target leads to identify prospects in identifying needs and providing relevant solutions and ideas to their equipment and service needs.  The SDR will work with a team of experienced sales representatives to learn the industry and best practices.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Utilize multiple forms of digital/social platforms, software and information to identify and engage key stakeholders of target prospects
  • Identify and screen out prospects who do not have a current interest in purchasing a product; remove these prospects from pipeline to eliminate waste of resources
  • Identify needs of interested prospects and provide solutions
  • Adhere to all company safety and general policies
  • Help with any other duties as requested or assigned

 

MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

 

  • Typically reports to Sales Development Manager  
  • Job is not directly responsible for managing other employees.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization, vendors and customers
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with best warehouse practices
  • Basic computer skills

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Ability to complete basic math operations
  • Ability to read and comprehend written procedures, write routine documents
  • Ability to understand and execute multi-step oral and written instructions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree (BA) preferred
  • One (1) to two (2) years related experience or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative, Corel, CAD and Bluebeam preferred 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  •  Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
  • Travel requirements: 0%
  • Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
