Job Summary


The primary responsibilities of the Infusions Technicians are to prep, cook, and package cannabis infused edibles products for dispensing to customers and patients. The Infusions Tech will perform critical tasks to ensure that the company’s regulated cannabis infused products are produced in a timely, high quality, and compliant manner.  The person in this role needs to have strong attention to detail, follow direction well, maintain consistency across large volumes of products, and be an adaptable team player. Food service, food manufacturing, or general manufacturing experience, is beneficial but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the kitchen production/workflow of large batches of marijuana infused products (MIPs).
  • Maintains high level of cleanliness of all workspaces, kitchen equipment, and sanitation practices concerning handling of product and materials according to company procedures.
  • Reports any potential contamination to the Manager immediately.
  • Ensures preparation of sample products for testing is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate completion of all batch production records, regular preventative equipment maintenance, audits, and supply orders.
  • Organizes both regulated and non-regulated material.
  • Awareness and adherence to GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and QA regulations.
  • Keeps accurate records at all steps to maintain quality and control of regulated product.


  • Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.
  • Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product.
  • Ability to multi-task repeatedly with exceptional attention to detail with minimal errors.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, inventory practices, and safe kitchen practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
  • Must be dependable, professional and confident.
  • Must be able to work on weekends or alternate shifts.

  • 1-3 years

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Strong documentation practices (i.e. maintain kitchen notebook, ingredient lists, etc.)
  • This job will require continuous education and training.
  • This position will require reading and learning through textbooks, articles, webinars, and hands-on activities.

Working conditions


  • The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.
  • The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures.


Physical requirements


  • Sitting, standing, and walking motion/movement will be required.
  • Lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds may be required.
  • Constant movement and use of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Constantly operates kitchen machinery and other productivity equipment
  • Must be able to inspect and detect quality defects.
