Job Summary:
The Senior Operations Specialist provides specialized knowledge and guidance to the Managed Account Support (MAS) team members in the daily activities related to operational tasks performed by the team. In addition, the Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for the facilitation, tracking, and communication of projects related to continuing enhancements to workflows and processes. Additional tasks may be assigned in support of the MAS department or firm as a whole. Work requires consistent exercise of independent discretion and judgement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage specialized knowledge to ensure efficient and effective processing of account and performance reconciliation, account maintenance, and end client billing.
- Proactively identify areas in need of review by MAS and/or other departments; consistently work to enhance departmental processes in collaboration with manager.
- Provide guidance to other members of the MAS team to ensure accurate and timely processing as well as full understanding of duties.
- Independently research issues and systematic problems to determine root cause analysis and make well thought out recommendations to the Manager to remedy the issues.
- Provide support during company releases by coordinating UAT testing, bug identification, and verification and communication of topics to all department members.
- Create training materials for new team members and provide aspects of new hire training as well as ongoing staff training.
- Support collection of SLA data and distribution as required.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by MAS Supervisor or Manager.
- Escalate complex issues as appropriate to MAS manager.
- Coordinate meetings for MAS and meetings with internal operations teams.
- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 2-5 years of related experience required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of the securities industry and the Envestnet platform
