Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Systems Administrator to join our Technology team. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at either our Raleigh, NC, Denver, CO or Berwyn, PA office locations.

Job Summary:

The System Administrator manages and sets up essential cloud-based services offered by Microsoft, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, and OneDrive. Additionally, this role leverages Microsoft Defender/Security and Microsoft Purview to help design and implement security measures for the O365 environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and administer user accounts, groups, and licenses within Azure Active Directory.
  • Set up and sustain email and collaboration platforms in Exchange and SharePoint.
  • Organize and oversee sites, libraries, lists, web parts, and permissions in SharePoint.
  • Manage the configuration of teams, channels, meetings, chat, and applications within MS Teams.
  • Administer the synchronization, sharing, and backup configurations in OneDrive.
  • Support implementation and management of security policies, alerts, reports, and audits in Microsoft Defender/Security.
  • Direct and control data governance, classification, discovery, and protection using Microsoft Purview.
  • Monitor and resolve health, usage, and service incidents related to O365 services. Offer technical support and guidance to end users and IT personnel on O365 services.
  • Keep informed about the latest features, updates, and best practices pertaining to O365 services.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role
  • Experience configuring/administering Enterprise technology including several of the following: Microsoft Intune, Okta, Office 365, Active Directory, Enterprise Security Tools, Windows, Linux, Automation, Scripting, Server Hardware, Virtualization, and Cloud Services.
  • Proficient with PowerShell
  • Familiarity with audio/video tools like Zoom and WebEx
  • Strong understanding of Intune/MEM
  • Skilled in incident management and prioritization
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives efficiently
  • Experience in managing vendor communications and relationships

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $114,000.
