The Web Tagging Analyst will play a critical role in developing and maintaining tags/pixel tracking on websites & app to ensure accurate data collection. This role will collaborate with cross-functional partners such as marketing, site operations, and development teams to implement tagging strategies for data capture; create and deploy front-end tests across websites, app, and a/b testing tools; and conduct post-deployment and post-project analysis to ensure the integrity of the analytics platform. The Web Tagging Analyst must be able to proactively troubleshoot technical issues with tracking and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in site tagging, analytics, and testing. This role will also support site testing campaign setup and analysis as needed, as well as providing support for regularly occurring reporting requests. Ideal candidates are skilled in Html and JavaScript and have experience working with a tag management solution.

What You'll Do: 

  • Implement and maintain web tagging on all web properties using Tealium Tag Management solution by partnering with Internal developers or vendors
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the tagging code that would impact proper capture of data
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, operation, development) to tackle pixel/tag implementation requests in an efficient way within a tag management tool (TealiumIQ)
  •  Use web debugging tools (Utag monitor, GA Tag assistant, ObservePoint) to perform tag validation and QA. Setup proactive alerts and monitor any breakage
  • Perform Tagging audits/data integrity checks on a regular basis to control over the tags deployed across the site/app
  • Develop technical tagging requirement specifications (business requirements document/BRD) for implementation tied to business objectives
  • Use mobile proxy tools (Charles proxy) to validate analytics tagging across mobile applications and mobile web tagging
  • Collaborate with vendors (marketing, social media, affiliates, etc.) to understand analytics implementation techniques and suggest implementation best practices based on well-defined organization standards
  • Provide quick turnaround responses to ad hoc data requests, digging into discrepancies and inconsistencies
  • Assisting in ongoing implementation, testing and optimization of analytics
  • Support site testing campaign setup and analysis as needed
What You'll Need:
  • 2+ years of experience in tag management (Tealium, Google Tag management) and web analytics
  • Experience with Google Analytics, specifically troubleshooting and QA
  • Strong skills in Javascript, HTML5
