Our open office environment and quarterly meetings ensure that our HQ associates are always in the loop. In addition, our stores meet by district twice a year to make sure our field associates stay ahead of the game.

Development and Recognition
Hard work does not go unnoticed at Torrid. From our quarterly celebration for newly promoted associates and our Individual and Team Impact Awards.

In the field, District Managers regularly meet with Store Management to ensure that all Torrid employees remain up-to-date on best practices. Not only do we send our District Managers to receive quarterly training at HQ and in the field but we also invite our newly promoted or hired Store Managers to HQ to learn what it really takes to be a Torrid Store manager.

Community
Yes, we sell clothes to curvy women to make them feel young, sexy and stylish on the outside while also helping them feel beautiful and confident on the inside. But for us, it’s so much more! It’s about giving back. We established the Torrid Foundation to raise funds and partner with non-profit organizations dedicated to helping women and changing lives. Aside from the foundation, at Torrid HQ we also participate in an annual Backpack Drive and Holiday Adopt-a-Family program. We strive to help those who are less fortunate in our local communities. We don’t stop there. At the Torrid Foundation we’re obsessed with helping women.

Benefits Highlights for all full-time regular employees:

Medical*

A comprehensive medical plan includes preventive care, urgent care, maternity care, mental health, hospital coverage, prescription drug coverage and more. HMO, PPO and traditional Indemnity plans are available depending upon work location.

Dental*

A comprehensive dental plan includes preventative care, as well as acute care and orthodontia coverage. Network and Indemnity plans are available depending upon work location.

Vision*

A general vision care plan covers annual eye exams, as well as offering a discount on frames, lenses and contact lenses when using preferred providers.

Life Insurance

Basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage is issued at no cost to employees. In addition, employees are given an opportunity to apply for additional coverage.

Short Term Disability

Short Term Disability coverage is provided at no cost to employees.

401(k) Plan

All Torrid employees who meet eligibility requirements may invest in the Company 401(k) Plan. Employees may rollover a 401(k) balance from a previous employer at any time.

Employees are eligible to get a 50% discount on apparel, accessories and shoes.

Tuition Assistance Program

Employees may apply for Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses and college degree programs after 6 months of service. Tuition and books are covered with some restrictions, and all covered fees are reimbursed after completing the qualified course with a satisfactory grade.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)*

The EAP offers employees and their family’s free confidential assistance for issues involving emotional well-being, finances, legal, addiction and recovery, education and more. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, either by phone or through up to 3 in-person visits per year.

Child Care

Employees are eligible for a discount at participating KinderCare locations nationwide.

How much do Sales Associates earn per hour at Torrid?

We generally start our Sales Associates at minimum wage, but it may be higher if you have previous retail experience.
