Planning and Allocation Intern
Description
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with creating allocation strategies to optimize inventory by store
- Recap business at both the product category and item / style level
- Identify store, style, and size level risks and/or opportunities
- Support allocation team in day-to-day activities as we implement new allocation technology
- Learn how to build an efficient financially based product assortments – in conjunction with Planning team members
- Learn how to build efficient inventory plans to help maximize both margin and productivity
- Learn the importance of Omni Channel Retailing – and how multiple systems are used to better fulfill customer demand orders
- Open to college junior/senior level students and recent graduates
- Proficient in Excel and the MS office suite
- Passion for problem solving, analytics, and process improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for duration of internship program. Internship dates: June 3 – August 9, 20224
