You'll perform dev-ops, production support, and software Automation duties on a variety of customer-facing and internal enterprise systems and applications on multiple platforms. This role will work with developers, product owner and QA Engineers to maintain optimal system performance and high system availability. This position will bring a passion for driving performance improvements in Service level Agreements, Automation, and fixing the Root Cause across all IT Application portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

  •  Accurately predict the amount of effort required for projects and tasks and develop plans/schedules accordingly. Provide architectural guidance and technical recommendations to improve performance.
  • Lead team of onsite and offshore engineers and keep production systems uptime 24/7 support.
  • Enterprise Support Role for complete ITIL, ITSM process L1/L2/L3/L4
  • Vendor management skills are key for this skill as we have off the shelf products.
  • Managing and enforcing SLA's where possible.
  • Managing, publishing, and enforcing RCAs for all parties.
  • Defining a roadmap from Run Model to DevSecOps Model.
  • Maintaining and managing KPIs for all critical system for Uptime availability.
  • Manage release cycle process to minimize disruption around business operations. Recommend tools where possible.
  •  Identify product issues and write detailed bug reports during the product development cycle.
  • Communicate and coordinate with peers and senior level individuals in cross-functional groups to articulate and compare alternative testing approaches.
  • Maintain, support and extend existing in-house automation for different applications.
  • Research, develop and recommend tools to assist support Engineers to identify and fix problems.
  • Participate and review the requirements and development designs for potential performance implications and suggest the design changes if necessary.
  • Work closely with other domain architects, to design solutions for performance and scalability. Make sure that the changes in other domains are not impacting performance.
  • Ensure timely proactive identification of performance issues, escalating issues as warranted.

What You’ll Need: 
  • 7+ years of experience as an engineer preferably within retail or ecommerce industries
  • 2+ years of Managerial experience preferred
