An integral part of a group that provides timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with GAAP. This position assists with testing the IT-related internal controls of the Company and reports to the Senior Manager and Director of Internal Audit.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with defining and implementing a program for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting the status of IT risk across the organization
  • Assist with providing guidance to ensure IT risk management activities are being documented and consistently performed
  • Develop and maintain a risk assessment/security review process for new and existing third-party vendors and applications
  • Work with project teams, IT, business unit contacts and other stakeholders to conduct information asset and application risk assessments
  • Perform specific internal testing of identified Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) processes, confirm the accuracy of accounts and controls, inspect physical processes, and detect intentional and unintentional failures of internal controls in accordance with SOX
  • Ascertain whether proper controls are in place to ensure adherence to Company standards, controls, and accounting rules and regulations, including the SOX Act
  • Assist in the external (quarterly and annual) review/audit process and liaise with external auditors and consultants
  • Comply with ethical and legal standards and maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Perform other job duties as needed

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management of Information Systems, Information Security/Assurance, or related discipline; CPA is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of internal and external audit-related experience; Big 4 is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the SOX Act, US GAAP, COSO framework, and other accounting regulations
  • Previous experience in the retail industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment
  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, and copes well with change

Salary range: 70K-95K depending on experience
