Material Planner
SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a Material Planner. The selected candidate will work with procurement, manufacturing, program management, manufacturing management, engineering, and production control planners to coordinate and facilitate the entry of contract demand into the MRP system, material requisition process, and inventory alignment to manufacturing schedules. This individual will be accountable for current and scheduled material availability.

- Convert contracts information to demand input in the MRP system
- Interface with cross functional areas (engineering, procurement, manufacturing management, manufacturing planning, supply chain)
- Support non-conforming material process
- Responsible for demand to supply matching
- Responsible for material planning and purchase requisition submission
- Ensure material supply is aligned to meet the manufacturing/development build plan
- Interface with SRC Engineering on procurement of development material
- Interface with supply chain & procurement to identify and resolve material issues
- Develop best practices to minimize on-hand inventory (min stocking, EOQ, Common Inventory)
- Provide input to strategic material planning process including material availability analysis
- Monitor and report material risks and communicate impact to schedule delivery
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required and 3+ years of experience
- Working knowledge of inventory management, bills of material, MRP systems
- Proficient with MS office applications – advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Must be able to organize and manage multiple, changing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $60,000 to $69,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs. SRC offers competitive benefit options, including a 10% company retirement contribution, low cost health care options, 20 days PTO yearly with an additional 8 paid holidays.
