Sr./Lead AEM Developer
Description
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality code per your standards, and the standards of our squad, our clients, and the firm.
- Work within our technology governance for SDLC, tech design, and best practices. Understand why we follow this governance.
- Participate in standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, collaborating w/ your dev, qa, and product owner colleagues.
- Working within AEM; recognize our current paradigm and help us make the best use of the platform.
Skills:
- Experience developing and deploying web applications.
- Competency in Java (v11 preferred) and Javascript, HTML and CSS.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager v6.5.
- Understand the AEM technology stack: OSGi, Sling, CRX, HTL.
- Develop AEM Sites, page templates, components, workflows, manage the content model, permissions, tagging, perform administrative functions, package manager.
- Develop code supporting AEM Author content and metadata entry by our Users.
- Develop efficient code running on the Publish server.
- Ability to diagnose code and processes within AEM and other code containers.
- Understand browsers. Have full competency of browser developer tools.
- Understand SDLC principles and practices. Take responsibility for our CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity w/ tools to manage, edit, build, deliver i.e.: Eclipse IDE, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira.
- Working on a Windows 11 desktop as your dev machine and Linux servers running our network and systems.
- Understand performance and secure coding considerations as relevant to AEM Author, Publish, and the browser.
- Understand and support efficient caching in the Dispatcher, CDN, and browser.
- Knowledge of tag management systems, we use Adobe Analytics.

- Work closely with your QA colleagues. You test before they test.
- Show ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, exercise judgement, and be open and willing to grow.
