Role Description:
At Oak Street Health, we are building the industry-leading clinical operations and population health platform to support the delivery of high quality care to the Medicare population. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the continuous optimization and innovation of a specific component of our platform. Additionally, you will partner with business, product, and engineering leadership to define overarching product strategy to inform future initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine sharp analytical thinking and problem solving skills with exceptional communication and time management capabilities to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products to our team members.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide vision and direction for your production domain to development team and stakeholders throughout each product initiative.
Lead the efforts of your scrum team as the Product Owner as you keep abreast of Agile / Scrum best practices and seek to implement within your team.
Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize epics / stories to ensure work focuses on providing the maximum value aligned with the product strategy.
Drive the successful planning and execution of all product initiatives for the products you own. For each project, you are responsible for driving each step of the product management process to ensure a successful outcome.
Set the roadmap for your product domain in partnership with business leaders and maintain a well-groomed backlog of user stories for the development team to complete.
Employ multiple mechanisms for conducting product research to inform requirements and design. Through both external investigation and internal collaboration, the information you gather will ensure the products you design exceed user expectations.
Partner with cross-functional team members to collect and document detailed product requirements. Additionally, you will bring a creative eye to our team by working alongside our UX team to design high quality, intuitive products for our end users.
Ensure the quality of each product that you design by thoroughly testing each user story. You will also support other Product team members in the planning and execution of large-scale alpha and beta tests to validate product capabilities.
Define and project manage the launch of new products to our users. In partnership with our operations teams, you will help train end users and create applicable documentation for your products.
Identify and action opportunities for product improvement identified through quantitative measurement and feedback from end users.

What are we looking for?
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a value based care organization that is changing the way healthcare is delivered. We're looking for motivated, experienced professionals with:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business or a related field
3+ years in a product, operations, or engineering role
1+ years healthcare experience
Preferred experience:
2+ years operating in a Product Owner role (or similar) at a rapidly growing business
MA / MBA in any of the above fields
US work authorization
