Business Analyst: Order to Cash

The Opportunity
Nutanix is building a world-class organization and is looking for a top notch Order Analyst to add to the team. This person will be responsible for the functional design and support of SaaS solutions for the Order to Cash stream. The candidate will be part of the SaaS Engineering team and will be supporting various business groups like finance, accounting, services, FP&A, Tax and Revenue teams. The candidate will act as a liaison between finance, accounting, tax and the delivery teams to help drive and implement processes, systems, and change adoption within the organization. The ideal candidate will have worked in fast paced organizations with rapid growth and frequent change, helping to drive and execute on change initiatives. The candidate must have designed and worked with development teams to build scalable solutions for growth companies and should have guided and mentored teams to build robust solutions with a long term mindset.

Your Role
- Document business requirements and the associated metrics needed to identify if the requirements are achieved.
- Efficiently optimize existing business processes to drive productivity in business groups
- Design new business processes that will scale and help business teams across the company.
- Effectively communicate business requirements to the technical organizations, guide other business analysts and provide feedback to ensure solution designs are scalable.
- Provides regular communication regarding the status of specific projects and interfaces with all areas affected by the project
- Be involved in project discussions and be able to act as a consultant in guiding business stakeholders to picking the right solutions for their needs keeping in mind the long term requirements.
- Should represent SaaS Engineering on design discussions needed with Business Stakeholders and other teams in the company
- Research and find industry best practices and solutions and build guidelines for the team to follow.
What You Will Bring
- Experience working with technical and functional teams and should have mentored and guided teams to implement the best solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Info Systems discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in an operational role and some experience with project and or change management.
- The ideal candidate should be able to grasp stakeholder requirements and vision, proactively offering solutions that demonstrate clear value to the business. This role emphasizes being an order creator, not just an order taker.
- Strong experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, Oracle ERP)
- Multiple implementations
- Building automations and customization for highly salable solutions
- Deep understanding of all finance, accounting & tax modules and processes.
- Strong experience required in General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Inventory (from a period close standpoint) etc.
- Must have experience with month-end activities in financial systems.
- Experience in COUPA implementation is a plus
- Experience with tax configurations & tax rules is a plus
- Should have experience in Integration platforms (BOOMI, Informatica, etc.) and other applications (Salesforce, Zuora) that are integrated in the ecosystem that are typically used in enterprise architectures.
- Must be able to design and document process flows for end to end business processes. Should be able to optimize existing flows and ensure all designs are implemented with proper exception handling implemented.
- Must be able to drive process changes and reverse engineer processes if needed
- Must have extensive reporting experience.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 99,200 and USD $ 198,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
