Senior Operations Support Analyst

Monarch is a Top 50 multifamily real estate management and ownership company looking for a strong candidate to help coordinate functions and facilitate process improvement across multiple departments. They will need to be able to understand the various roles and responsibilities of these groups and be able to assist them as needed.  To be successful, the candidate will have to have the ability to organize and manage several varied and non-related projects as once. 

The position will report to the CEO and also work closely with the Database and Reporting Coordinator, with whom a team of 2 to 4 analysts will be shared. 

Opportunities and Duties

  • Oversee and work with internal support departments including IT and Payroll
  • Complete bi-annual valuations of each apartment complex and coordinate investor requests
  • Conduct and oversee some internal company reporting including quarterly reports
  • Coordinate annual property budgeting
  • Be a resource for ongoing questions related processes and procedures managed by this department
  • Gather and maintain information for lenders and investors company transactions, including some 1031 Tenant in Common exchanges
  • Maintain relationships with third party vendors and provide product support to employees
  • Evaluate opportunities for the use of new products or vendors within the portfolio, and help negotiate contracts and pricing for those vendors
  • Work on AdHoc projects as necessary


Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Analytics type field
  • Ability to understand the roles and responsibilities of all departments within the company and figure out ways to support those departments
  • 3+ years relevant and/or related experience
  • Experience in ongoing analysis of costs and performance for new and existing products and vendors
  • Strong interest in real estate and financing/investing
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Database structures, queries and reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting/property management software
