What We Offer


As a representative of the Architecture Department, the Architectural Coordinator assists in providing architectural services to the company while striving to provide the best Homeowner Experience. This involves tasks and communication with external parties such as the Architect and Ad Agency to prepare our marketing collateral, while collaborating with the different functional areas of the business such as Architecture, Marketing, Purchasing, Design, and/or Construction to enhance the value of the Mattamy brand.




  • Support departmental goals by assisting team members as directed by the Architectural Project Manager
  • Review and revise architectural drawings to ensure compliance with both Mattamy standards and OBC requirements
  • Liaison between external consultants & internal departments for both the coordination & creation of marketing collateral such as renderings, brochures, sales displays, virtual tours and web assets
  • Format and prepare CAD drawings from the Architect to create legal contract drawing assets for purchaser sign-off & acknowledgement
  • Verify that all marketing materials are up to date and consistent with the latest product offering
  • Prepare upgrade and grade related legal drawings for purchaser sign-off & acknowledgement
  • Create Architectural Control policy memo which identifies and captures both municipal architectural guidelines and Mattamy internal policies
  • Maintain and assign exterior colour packages following the prescribed Architectural Guidelines
  • Coordinate and obtain exterior colour approvals with the Control Architect, along with input of approved selections into our internal operating systems
  • Coordinate Presentation Centre colour board requirements with both our Marketing team & Architect
  • Assist Customer Care, Decor and Sales departments to resolve any architectural related concerns
  • Manage electronic storage of all architectural & marketing collateral


What You Bring


  • Architectural Technology Diploma from a Community College or equivalent
  • Experience in residential construction preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and visually through use of architectural drawings
  • Working knowledge and skills with AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator required, experience with Revit an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Detail-orientated with the ability to check documents/drawings for accuracy, communicate detailed changes and ensure corrections are made
  • A creative problem solver
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and excellent management skills
