What we offer
Mattamy is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Construction Office team for an exciting opportunity to begin their career with an industry leader while completing their studies. In keeping with the Mattamy Mission of providing The Best Homeowner Experience, the Production Administrator will assist the Production Manager by providing administrative support to the Construction Office Department.
What you’ll do
- Obtain a general knowledge of JDE, our internal program and how it is used in our day-to-day activities i.e. Control Sheet, Start and close dates, payables etc.
- Obtain a general knowledge of BuildPro, a program our site team uses to manage the build process of our homes.
- Obtain a general knowledge of LotWorks including how to update it daily, the role that it plays within our sales and construction teams, and how to create and send weekly sales maps.
- How to map out a new community phase prior to construction start, using the orderbook & current construction flow.
- Receive, code, and submit payables to AP as received, ensuring prompt payment to our trade partners.
- Support our site construction coordinators and build teams as required.
- Help plan team building events for the construction teams.
- Offer suggestions on how to improve our current processes and procedures, i.e.. Work smarter not harder.
- Manage and update a current trade list.
- Reset job baselines in BuildPro each week for new job starts.
- Assist with general data entry or system clean-up tasks, as required.
- Review production report daily and flag information entered incorrectly in BuildPro.
- Support the builder performance dashboard by running monthly reports, collecting data from multiple sources, and reviewing and re-formatting data for use in a master spreadsheet.
- Review, organize, and purge share point folders.
What you bring
- Working towards a post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in Business Administration.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to recognize and meet deadlines in fast-paced work environment.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, in particular Excel; experience with basic AutoCAD is an asset.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to coordinate several simultaneous work tasks while maintaining positive attitude and flexible work style.
- Self-motivated with ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Good customer service skills
