DESCRIPTION

Position at JBS USA Food Company

JBS is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator based at our Souderton Plant, PA. The Coordinator works on HRIS platform and maintenance of employee data. Inputs data into a computer processing system and reviews output for accuracy. Generates standard reports for Human Resources or managing personnel. Responsible to administer and ensure compliance on FMLA/LOA cases. 

Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Entry of employee information into SAP
  • Entry of hiring employees, including promotions, transfers, demotions, and terminations
  • Working with payroll to meet completion of employees pay (including payroll adjustments, bereavement, etc.)
  • Filing of employee records and other information
  • Preparation of daily and running weekly reports
  • Helping employees complete company forms
  • Assist employees with ADP payroll systems
  • Make ID Badges for employees 
  • Answering phones
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Customer service

 BENENFIT DUTIES:

  • Assist employees with benefits questions
  • Assist employees with Fin Fit loans
  • Assist employees with 401K
  • Assist employees with STD & LTD insurance
  • Explain benefits plans to new hires.

 FMLA/LOA DUTIES:

  • Track & check eligibility for employees
  • Track # of weeks used FMLA/Intermittent
  • Call TM’s weekly to get updates on FMLA/LOA cases.
  • Issue FMLA forms to employees
  • Ensure/Audit FMLA compliance
  • Send commutation letters to employees on FMLA/LOA
  • Entry of leave tracking in Kronos and/or SAP.

 

Requirements;
 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • Maintain a work environment that is comfortable, user-friendly, and organized
  • Ability to adapt to new demands, reprioritize workload and address urgent demands quickly
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to all associates and all internal/external resources
  • Eagerness and ability to learn new skills, technologies and business processes quickly
  •  Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and across all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to work inclusively, but also be able to work independently and without excessive supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee information
  • Attention to detail
  • Bi-Lingual preferred
