Role - SAP TRM Senior Consultant
SAP Skills:
- 6 to 8 years of experience with TRM project implementations.
- Expert level knowledge concerning SAP TRM and PSCD.
- Excellent understanding of Tax Authority business processes and legislation.
- Exposed to multiple Implementation methodologies like ASAP, Activate, Waterfall, Scrum etc.
- Strong understanding of Taxation, refunds arising out of returns, credits posting and disbursement of refunds.
- Understands the usage of GL account, configurations of GL in Financial accounting and PSCD module.
Responsibilities- Undertakes functional solution responsibilities considering SAP TRM / PSCD
- Understands the business processes and business challenges by applying SAP standard processes wherever possible.
- Provides support to project manager in sharing the various tasks of their solution to conclude on the project planning, deliverable specification, and effort estimations.
- Responsible for client interaction and management during all workshops, meetings, and informal contacts.
- Able to communicate with customer confidently, convince / coach clients on the most appropriate solution and agree on an effective way forward.
- Lead or support workshops while ensuring all requirements are captured and compared to planned scope of work and previously specified deliverables.
- Conducts or supports meetings, provides regular updates to customer / project team members.
- Ensures that all risks and mitigation processes within their solution are identified and documented.
- Supports and prepares all project deliverables and actively participates in the complete project life cycle documentation from their solution perspective.
- Periodically monitors and supports the progress of the activities within his solution scope and ensures to take timely actions to avoid delays.
- Supports or leads demo or proof of concept (PoC) preparations and conducts business process demonstrations to our clients.
- Recommends business process improvements where applicable.
- Provides solution and effort estimations for change requests.
- Actively participates in all TRM practice activities.
- Proactively seek additional support within the practice on knowledge gaps
- Proactively inform project delays and seeks mitigation.
- Participates in the various recruitment drives and actively conducts interviews to identify resources with adequate skill sets and practice knowledge.
- Design and develop new TRM solutions to widen our product catalogue.
- Coach and mentor team members.
Business Skills- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Understands business processes for focus area or module.
- Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understands touch points between modules.
- Understands how to solve detailed SAP problems.
- Understands and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.

- Exposure to new technologies in the SAP space for functional considerations.

- Has a solid foundation for consulting “soft” skills necessary on client engagements.
- Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
- Ability to identify upsell opportunities and assists in management of scope.
