Role - SAP SD Consultant
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Logistics Consultant to join our team supporting the UK account. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Sales and Distribution module, with a focus on logistics processes. This role will contribute to the ongoing S/4HANA implementation and ensure that the logistics operations are aligned with the client’s business objectives, particularly for media distribution and supply chain efficiency.

SAP Skills
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, with a focus on logistics processes.
  • Proven track record in implementing and supporting SAP SD in complex environments, preferably in media or large enterprise settings.
  • Strong understanding of the integration points between SAP SD and other modules such as MM, FICO, and LE (Logistics Execution).
  • Should have understanding about Logistics Shipments, Planning, Billing.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on SAP SD configuration and support for sales order processing, delivery, billing, pricing, and logistics execution.
  • Analyse and design logistics processes in the SAP SD module to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM, FI, and other logistics teams, to integrate logistics operations with supply chain and financial processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules, especially in logistics execution, warehouse management, and transportation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD-related incidents, service requests, and change requests in a timely manner.
  • Work with the client’s leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend SAP best practices.
  • Support the ongoing S/4HANA implementation, ensuring that SD processes are fully aligned with the new system architecture.
  • Provide post-go-live support and training to client teams, ensuring the smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in business terms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to perform detailed tasks and research to solve specific business challenges.
Consulting Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for S/4HANA.
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly to team members and client personnel.
  • Proven ability to interpret client requirements and apply SAP best practices.
  • Experience working in a team environment with strong problem-solving skills, time management, and collaboration abilities.
General Skills
  • Assist project teams in developing solutions and achieving project objectives.
  • Meet project deadlines, stay within budget, and manage client and team commitments effectively.
  • Comply with administrative responsibilities and billing efficiency targets.
  • Provide updates on project progress and client concerns to project management.
  • Complete project documentation and prioritize tasks according to the project plan.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality services to clients and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Must be ready to work in a UK shift.
