Description

Chicago Brands, a leading Healthcare digital marketing company for over 11,000 small and medium sized health and wellness businesses, is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead all marketing growth channels.
 
The Director of Marketing will manage a team of 5 marketers, across 3 different brands. This individual will design & construct breakthrough monthly B2B lead growth and customer upsell programs that drive over 85% of unit closes and revenue for the business. This will be done by building monthly marketing programs against monthly specified lead and demo goals, that utilize automation solutions and tools across every channel. 
 
This key leadership role will collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Leadership teams. The role will focus on building engaging monthly marketing campaigns and flawless execution of day-to-day operations, architecture of automation campaigns, email segmentation and deployment, and forward-thinking strategic projects. The role requires excellent organizational skills, as well as a strong eye for detail. You will report on pipeline and campaign performance, measure ROI, optimize for efficiency and identify any leakage across the marketing and sales funnel. 
 
Essential functions:
- Lead the development of monthly marketing programs that achieved stated lead, demo, and revenue targets. 
- Design & manage marketing automation solutions and conversion optimization across the entire lead flow for all B2B marketing channels including email, SEM, content marketing channels, and social media
- Design and manage automation (Pardot) workflows and execute highly targeted campaigns including emails, landing pages, and other marketing assets
- Develop lead scoring and nurture streams to drive quality leads to sales and manage the lead flows through Salesforce.com 
- Set up, testing, execution and reporting on campaigns (including landing pages, forms, and reports) for lead management, lead nurturing and lead scoring
- Develop automation solutions to address customer retention & feature adoption
- Design and build effective tracking and dashboarding methodologies to report campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Work with designers and developers to create content, web pages, landing pages, and emails
- Define & execute A/B testing to optimize performance
- Collaborate with sales team on bottom-of-funnel optimization and improved lead qualification processes
- Project manage and prioritize all marketing initiatives based on achievement of monthly business goals
- Develop and launch direct mail campaigns in conjunction with leading medical associations
- Lead and mentor a 5 person marketing team
 
Competencies:
- 6-8 years of demonstrated success executing marketing campaigns with expertise using Pardot or similar automation platform
- Experience with database management, building nurture programs, smart-list development, setup, testing, launching and scoring of campaigns & programs, and reporting on campaign analytics
- Salesforce, Pardot, and Hubspot experience is a plus
- Email deliverability knowledge & experience, including domain reputation, compliance, deliverability optimization, and tracking
- Excellent data analytical abilities to help drive decisions
- Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong project management skills - from concept to completion
- High degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation, digital marketing and measurement
 
Required education and experience:
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in marketing operations in a digital business, with significant experience in marketing automation and CRM
- Advanced understanding of B2B marketing
- Experience and expertise in Salesforce and various marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, and Conversica
- Strong knowledge of lead flow practices
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices
- Team leadership or demonstrated cross-functional management experience
- Social media marketing experience
- PPC planning & management experience
- SEO optimization & tracking experience
