Consultant: Project Manager - Acquisitions Integration (Procurement, Finance & Accounting)

Description

This role will provide project management expertise in a variety of areas as Internet Brands (IB) integrates its latest acquisition.  

 Responsibilities include:

  • Assist IB with Procurement related functions as it adds/eliminates new products and services
    • Track vendors that IB intends to keep, eliminate and/or establish new arrangements or contracts
    • Coordinate and communicate with Seller and IB procurement teams
  • Oversight of acquisition Transition Services Agreement (TSA)
    • Ensuring services (e.g. Accounting/Billing/Financial, Technology, Marketing, Operations, etc.) are delivered timely and accurately.  
    • Costs and services provided by Seller are “stepped down” in accordance with agreement
    • Coordinate on regular/daily basis with Seller and internal stakeholders at IB; must communicate with different disciplines (e.g. Technology, Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, etc.) and leaders
  • Assist IB with System Separation Exercise (as needed)
  • Facilitate cross functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders to raise challenges, develop mitigation plans, and update project timelines and deliverables 
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership by communicating updates, escalations, dependencies, etc.
Qualifications includes:
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • Superior project management skills
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills. Ability to quickly build rapport, trust and strong collaboration
  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and/or Google suite (Slides, Sheets)
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, HR or Information Systems/Technology

Comp Range: 100-125k
