Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Compliance Administrator to join our dynamic HR team in El Segundo, CA.
This role works closely with team members in HR and legal to ensure that our organization adheres to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. The role will conduct audits, identify compliance gaps, monitor compliance programs and execute compliance deliverables, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a culture of compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Monitoring, Auditing & Execution:
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in employment laws and work with HR and legal to update company policies and forms accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR compliance requirements and best practices.
- Execute compliance projects and tasks.

Policy Implementation:
- Work with HR and legal to develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- Communicate policy changes and updates to employees and management.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance-related topics to HR staff and management.

Recordkeeping and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of all compliance-related documents and reports.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
- Maintain documentation of all compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and corrective actions.

Assist w/Employee Relations and Investigations:
- Assist in handling employee relations issues related to compliance, including complaints and investigations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with HR and legal team members as needed to address complex compliance issues.
- Support litigation needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

We expect the compensation for this role to have a range that starts at $65,000-$75,000and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
