Your Impact
As a Surveyor, you will:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct on-site surveys.
- Assess organizational programs and services against standards of excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Share your expertise to guide organizations in adopting best practices and achieving better outcomes.
Key Details
Location: Canada
Time Commitment: Minimum of two surveys per year (approximately 10 days).
Support: Receive initial training, ongoing professional development, a modest honorarium, and full travel reimbursement as per expense policy.
Earn continuing education credits from the First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA), Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
Required Qualifications
- Employment in an organization accredited by Accreditation Canada or a partner organization, located within Canada.
- Experience working in Emergency Medical Services or Ambulatory Care.
- Current paramedic licensure (PCP, ACP, or CCP) in good standing with the appropriate provincial paramedic regulatory body.
- Experience working with patients, clinicians, administrators, or governance teams on service design or quality improvement initiatives, and a strong commitment to improving care quality.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication) and technology.
- Proficiency in French (reading and verbal communication).
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.
- Knowledge of Accreditation Canada programs and accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior-level experience working in health care.
- Full bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Fluency in additional languages such as Italian, Spanish, or others.
- Experience in Aeromedical or Flight Paramedic operations.
