Internal Channel Account Manager - Dallas, TX - Hybrid
Description
- Be the expert on the deal registration processes/rules and answer questions for internal people and partners. Provide ongoing guidance and training for new and existing channel and sales personnel.
- Support Partners and answer questions around the partner portal, claiming spiffs, and other partner-facing functions.
- Proactively track partner spiff eligibility and ensure they are alerted if spiffs are expiring.
- Complete New Account forms for Partner leads for accounts not in SFDC.
- Track and promote programs, such as the current Margin Enhancement Program, in collaboration with Partners.
- Collaborate with CAMs and NAMs to ensure that partner certifications are up to date and that partners comply with the Catalyst Partner Program requirements.
- Help with new partner onboarding.
- Prepares presentations, trackers, and reports.
- Completes required training and development objectives.
- Provide “go-to” backup support when CAMs and NAMs are out of the office.
- Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of Focus Partners
- Drive deal registration and pipeline initiatives with the regional team, Field Marketer, and partners using the four key levers. Execute marketing activities and MDF budget in coordination with the Field Marketing Manager.
- Manage partner pipeline for New, Existing, and HTL orders, ensuring we have escalation paths with regional leadership on orders over $100K.
- Maintain productive, professional relationships with key stakeholder personnel within Top Focus Partners. Foster multi-level relationships between partners and Gigamon regional teams.
- Communicate product launches and promotions; drive partner participation in events.
- Works closely with the Distribution team to ensure efficient order processing.
- Five (5+) years or more working with the channel in high technology.
- Experience in interfacing and collaborating with channel partners, salespeople, and channel people.
- Knowledge of networking, data center, security and/or cloud technologies a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be high energy, motivated, and a self-starter.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel into the supported regions on occasion.
