Technical Marketing Engineer – Networking Focus (India)

Gigamon is the platform where monitoring, security, and analytics tools plug in to get clean, consistent access to all data in motion.
We’re looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) who lives and breathes networking — inline security, packet decryption, traffic aggregation, and visibility fabrics. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, sales, and customers — translating vision into real-world proof.
What You’ll Do
  • Craft demos and labs that showcase inline deployment, SSL/TLS decryption, traffic filtering, and aggregation use cases.
  • Deliver enablement content: training, workshops, and field-ready material on packet visibility and advanced networking.
  • Evaluate and document integrations with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other inline security solutions.
  • Build technical collateral: demo videos, blogs, deployment guides, and competitive teardown reports.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to validate joint solutions and prototype advanced use cases.
Gigamon-Style TME Work
  • Prototype future Gigamon network visibility solutions: experiment, validate, and help shape product direction.
  • Help the world’s largest orgs apply network-derived telemetry into their security, observability, and AI workflows.
  • Travel occasionally (every 6–8 weeks on average), or go big and become a global customer whisperer.
Who You Are
  • Degree in CS/EE or equivalent real-world expertise.
  • 5+ years in systems or network engineering, pre-sales, or technical marketing.
  • Deep networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing/switching, inline deployments, traffic aggregation/tapping.
  • Hands-on with SSL/TLS decryption, packet brokers, and security tool chains.
  • Bonus if you’ve touched cloud or automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python), but networking is your core.
  • Strong communicator: you can explain packet-level detail to a room of architects, then simplify it for execs.
  • Self-starter, fast learner, eager to build and share knowledge.
