FP&A Manager II
Description
Gigamon FP&A is looking for an energetic and collaborative FP&A Manager to join us on our growth journey. This role will serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Product Officer, Chief Development Officer and their direct reports. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in supporting R&D organizations, be familiar with the hardware and software business models, be flexible, highly organized, and a problem solver. Candidate also needs to have experience in doing financial planning for product investments that include headcount 3rd party resources and capital equipment, and effectively communicate them to management.

- Be a trusted advisor to Chief Product Officer, Chief Development Officer, and their direct staff
- Work with different R&D functional leaders in U.S and India to manage headcount and employee related expenses, project expenses that include outside services, licenses and royalties, and hardware and software capital equipment data centers
- Report monthly and quarterly financial results to CPO, CDO and their selected staff
- Partner with FP&A members to drive the annual budget and monthly forecast processes for R&D organizations
- Oversee validation and approval of functional requests for headcount, purchase orders and expenditures against correct cost center, available funding, and authorized projects
- Complete the monthly close for R&D functions that includes completing PO accruals, updating headcount data to Adaptive Planning, analyze variance details, prepare flux analysis
- Provide analysis and reporting of booking, pricing and margin for products
- Prepare ROI analytics for executive management review related to product investment programs, licensing and renewals of required tools and 3rd party software for development purpose
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. in engineering
- B.A. or B.S. in finance or accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting for SaaS and software companies, and support the R&D organizations
- Quantitative and analytical thinker
- Extensive Excel financial modeling, data mining, and management presentation experience
- Experience Adaptive Workday SaaS applications, Microsoft D365 or other ERP applications
- Experience using Power BI, Domo, or similar data visualization applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full of initiative and innovative strengths
- Organized and detail-oriented
