Customer Service Manager 
 
With 16 branches and five manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Required immediately, our Kent Branch is seeking a Customer Service Manager to grow the business and increase awareness of the FLOFORM brand.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing our home center business, Ikea, and Lowes. planning, coordinating and controlling the activities of the customer service team to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives.
 
Desired Skills & Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years Supervisory/Management experience
  •  5-10 years customer service experience with experience in similar industry with product knowledge an asset
  • Possess proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Have the ability to solve problems and challenging situations
  • Possess intermediate mathematical skills, with a solid understanding of fractions and measurements
  • Have strong organizational skills, with attention to detail coupled with effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach, train and develop employees
  • Have experience with CRM systems as an asset
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Supervising staff ensuring efficiencies are maintained in the processing of orders
  • Achieving customer service objectives by contributing customer service information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Determining customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers; visiting operational environments; conducting surveys; analyzing information and applications.
  • Improving customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes
  • Handling escalated customer complaints, investigating concerns and resolving issues
  • Establishing proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered
  • Preparing departmental reports and complete employee administration (reviews, vacation scheduling, time cards, etc.)
  • Planning and initiating order-writing procedures, using knowledge of company products, pricing methods, and discount classifications
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Maintaining customer service records and prepares required reports
  • Other duties as assigned
