Required immediately, our LOCAL BRANCH in Post Falls is seeking a TILESETTER/INSTALLER (SUB-CONTRACTOR)
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tile setter
- Must have liability insurance and workers comp coverage etc.
- Be able to read/understand custom, detailed layouts
- Deliver high quality professional service along with exceptional customer service on every job on behalf of Floform Countertops
- Have reliable transportation and able to provide own tools for the job
- Be flexible and willing to stay and get the job done right the first time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to customers' homes/business to install tiles
- Determine and implement the best layout to achieve a desired pattern for tile installation to achieve highest quality workmanship on the job site
- Remove any old tile, grout and adhesive using chisels and scrapers and clean the surface carefully
- Follow specifications for installation of new or damaged tile including accurate measures, proper installation to fit around obstacles, application of motor, finishing and dressing joints etc.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Other duties as assigned
