We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team and grow our builder network in the Seattle region.
Position Summary:
As an Outside Sales Territory Manager for Countertops, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development within the builder segment. You will work closely with builders, contractors, designers and architects to promote our products and solutions, ensuring that we meet the specific needs of each project. This role requires a proactive, goal-oriented individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster long-term partnerships and accelerate growth in your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify new builder clients and maintain relationships with existing accounts. Drive product adoption and sales by presenting tailored countertop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including builders, contractors, architects, and project managers.
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Product Expertise: Provide in-depth product knowledge and guidance on the features and benefits of our countertop materials, as well as application best practices.
- Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for builder clients, offering superior customer service, troubleshooting, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales, design, and operations teams to coordinate efforts and deliver seamless service to clients.
- Reporting: Track sales performance, customer feedback, and project progress, providing regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the construction, home improvement, or building materials industry (countertops experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of countertop products and materials, including granite, quartz, marble, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to travel within the designated territory as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
