What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting directly to an Australia-based manager, you'll be part of the Operations department, supporting the delivery of high-quality technical drawings for stone production. You will ensure designs meet required safety and structural standards while achieving agreed-upon time and quality metrics. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Generating CAD Programs: Annotating CAD drawings, attaching edgework, applying joins, and developing CNC and waterjet programs ready for factory production.
  • Optimizing Material Use: Nesting materials into programs ready for the saws and waterjets.
  • Ensuring Design Accuracy: Interpreting project briefs with direct managers to complete all files and technical drawings to precise specifications.
  • Applying Precision Measurement: Utilizing software like Stone Pro Office to accurately set up DXF files with precise measurements.
  • Proactive Communication: Communicating any potential design or structural issues to direct managers and stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency and hands-on experience using programs such as StonePro Office, STAAD Pro, and Notion.
  • Design Expertise: Excellent technical design skills and exposure to architectural and structural engineering workflows.
  • Time Management: Exceptional time and task management skills , with the ability to work with complex information.
  • Communication: Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with people including senior persons and commercial businesses.
  • Work Style: Ability to work alone or as part of a team and maintain a positive team player attitude.
