What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting directly to the Philippines-based Head of Legal and Compliance, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of labor relations cases to ensure 100% procedural integrity. Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Case Management: Assessing escalations, coordinating fact-finding, and facilitating administrative hearings with a focus on due process.
- Expert Documentation: Drafting legally defensible labor documents, including NTEs, Show Cause Memos, and final Decision Memos.
- Timeline Discipline: Obsessively tracking and managing the 5-day, 10-day, and 30-day Philippine Labor Code windows to ensure zero missed deadlines.
- Process Optimization: Proactively building and improving trackers, automation, and template libraries to streamline the labor relations workflow.
- Compliance Leadership: Serving as the "Documentation Gatekeeper" to ensure all case files are 100% audit-ready for DOLE scrutiny or internal reviews.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: At least 3+ years of dedicated experience in Labor Relations or Employee Relations.
- Technical Mastery: Deep working knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE rules.
- Proven Track Record: Experience facilitating administrative hearings and managing at least 15 concurrent cases.
- Writing Precision: Exceptional skill in drafting formal labor notices (50+ career total) with an emphasis on clarity and legal defensibility.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for typos, inconsistencies, and missing evidence that ensures every file is chronologically organized and complete.
- Professionalism: The ability to remain calm and maintain decorum during tense, contentious hearings.
Bonus Points For
- Experience owning both onboarding and offboarding operational workflows.
- A background in building automated case trackers or system improvements for HR/Legal teams.
- Previous experience in a senior-level role within a high-growth EOR or outsourcing environment.
