POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Employment may be through a local employing entity or employer-of-record partner, depending on the hiring location.
The Media Manager is EO’s central steward of our digital media library. You will ensure that EO’s photos, videos, and graphics are easy to find, safe to use, and ready to power storytelling across chapters, regions, and global channels. This role combines digital asset management, rights and release governance, and vendor coordination to protect EO’s brand and accelerate content reuse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Curation
- Ingest, organize, and publish EO photography, video, and design files from events and campaigns in EO’s digital asset management systems.
- Create and maintain an intuitive taxonomy, metadata standards, and tagging practices so teams can quickly find the right assets by chapter, region, program, topic, language, and usage rights.
- Curate best-in-class, brand-aligned galleries for priority needs (events, member storytelling, leadership, learning, and community moments).
- Partner with content and creative leads to build reusable “kits” (hero images, b-roll packs, social clips, and templates) that accelerate global and chapter marketing.
Rights, Releases, and Brand Protection
- Own and maintain EO’s media rights process, including release forms, permissions, copyright attribution requirements, and usage restrictions.
- Audit incoming media for rights compliance and resolve gaps with photographers, videographers, agencies, chapters, or participants.
- Create clear guidance for staff and vendors on where and how assets may be used across channels (web, social, paid, print, events, and partner marketing).
Workflow, Enablement, and Service to Internal Stakeholders
- Define simple intake and publishing workflows for EO events and campaigns, including file naming conventions and handoff checklists for production teams.
- Train staff, regional teams, and key chapter leaders on how to access and use the library, including best practices for selecting assets and applying brand guidelines.
- Provide responsive support for asset requests and help teams locate, license, or create what is needed to tell the EO story.
Vendor and Platform Management
- Manage accounts and relationships for stock photography, music, and media tooling, including renewals, usage tracking, and invoice processing in alignment with EO policies.
- Coordinate with contractors and production vendors to ensure timely delivery of files in the formats and specifications needed for EO systems.
- Partner with technology and creative services to continuously improve EO’s media stack, including AI-enabled search, accessibility, and integrations.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Track adoption and usage of EO’s media library (search trends, downloads, top collections, and request volume) and recommend improvements to increase self-service.
- Identify gaps in EO’s content library and proactively propose a capture plan for priority programs, regions, and audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Three to five years of experience in digital asset management, content operations, media production coordination, or a related role.
- Strong systems thinking and attention to detail, with a consistent record of organizing complex information for easy reuse.
- Working knowledge of media rights, releases, and licensing, including basic copyright and attribution practices.
- Comfort partnering across teams and time zones, with strong service mindset and clear written communication.
- Proficiency with digital media tools and file formats (photo, video, audio) and confidence learning new platforms quickly.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors, including scoping, coordinating deliverables, and processing invoices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience administering a digital asset management platform and designing metadata and taxonomy standards.
- Basic photo or video editing skills (for lightweight trimming, selection, and file prep).
- Experience supporting a global brand, membership organization, or multi-market marketing team.
- A second language in addition to English.
- Curiosity about responsible use of AI tools to improve search, tagging, and workflow efficiency.
POSTING DISCLOSURES
Compensation: $41,125 - $52,000 MXN Gross Monthly Salary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ROLE CONDITIONS
- This role is primarily sedentary/light work and requires regular use of a computer, telephone, and video-conference platforms.
- The role requires the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
- The role requires travel up to 5%
