POSITION SUMMARY

This role supports Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Employment may be through a local employing entity or employer-of-record partner, depending on the hiring location.

 

The Manager, Product Operations is a process leader that aligns the product portfolio and product owners to shared standards of data gathering, analytics, information presentation for stakeholders, and product evaluation. This individual oversees administrative teams who gather ongoing data and work with stakeholders to evaluate changes needed. They ensure that issues identified (singular and trend) are prioritized in the overall product roadmap and that all product owners fulfill expectations in a timely manner. This role manages multiple products and priorities simultaneously. This position requires strong leadership skills using influence over position, a deep understanding of EO products (design, delivery, and implementation locally, and vast experience in translating data into actionable information for stakeholders.

 

This role involves designing repeatable and transparent processes for analysis, debrief, and quality assurance systems that support product design and delivery across a multitude of areas. As this process leader supports a variety of key stakeholders and projects, advanced expertise and mastery of data and analytics, proactive initiative and capacity for self-project management, proactive sharing of information and insights, and impeccable collaboration that fosters a positive environment are a must. 

 

The Manager also bridges together operational and strategic work of the products portfolio and ensures that member volunteers have visibility and active participation in improvements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, revise, and evaluate standardized systems to be deployed across products (registration, surveys, debrief templates, review formats). Ensure that all product owners are compliant with systems and escalate issues as needed.

Accountable for ensuring that all product owners are trained and deploying standardized tools within two weeks of product completions.

  • Report product learnings to key stakeholders in a summarized format and bring significant issues to operational and portfolio leaders for decisions, training needed, and product roadmap inclusions. 
  • Collect ongoing product data and generate analysis for reports as needed
  • Oversee the mid-year, annual, and year-over-year product review processes. In conjunction with the portfolio workstream, recruit a diverse group of stakeholders, rate product data, and compile recommendations for product innovations.
  • Find and deploy technology tools that allow for automatic and scalable solutions to the data, debrief, and review processes. Find suitable technology tools to evaluate qualitative comments, looking specifically for trends and significant issues which need to be addressed.
  • Liaise with the analytics teams to design and develop comprehensive reports that analysis product-level and year-over-year trends. 
  • Provide bi-weekly updates, insights, and data reports to portfolio leaders including: KPIs, NPS ratings, value derivative scores, members served, and cost per user information among other data. 
  • Develop training for staff and members on how to engage with the products portfolio, offerings, and processes.
  • Serve as staff support for assigned products portfolio workstreams and member directors as needed including regular calls, member leader support, training, and in-person meetings.
  • Develop and deliver training for EO staff who engage or access product data. Understand internal user needs and suggest process improvements 
  • Develop a system to liaise with regions within each region and MSC staff as needed.
  • Create and deliver a mid-year, annual, and year-over year review.
  • Serve as staff support for assigned products portfolio workstreams and member directors as needed including regular calls, member leader support, training, and in-person meetings.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. In lieu of the above-described educational requirements, at least four years of event-related program development and execution experience, preferably in the non-profit environment.
  • Project management experience, including organization of people and programs and coordinating marketing.
  • Proven experience in design and delivery of data and/or process improvement experience. 
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies and action plans.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize in fast-changing environments.
  • Collaborative, positive, self-starting, and experienced with multi-functional teams and volunteers.
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and follow through skills.
  • Strong ability to work in teams, matrix organizations with high accountability.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ROLE CONDITIONS

  • This role is primarily sedentary/light work and requires regular use of a computer, telephone, and video-conference platforms.
  • The role requires the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
  • The role requires travel up to 20%.
  • The role requires occasional early morning/evening meetings across time zones.
  • The role requires lifting/moving up to 5 kgs, as applicable.
