About the role  
We are looking for a high energy New College Graduate System Test Engineer who is passionate about hands-on system testing, debugging, and building strong technical fundamentals. You will work with a team focused on Systems Integration and Validation of Enphase product offerings, including Microinverters, AC Batteries, EV Chargers, Gateways, Smart Loads, and Cloud/Mobile applications.
You will learn how to set up end to end system test environments, execute real world use cases, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a new engineer to build strong foundations in testing cutting edge energy systems.
 
Who you are and What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • 0–1 year of experience (internship, academic projects, or lab experience is welcome).
  • Strong interest in renewables, solar, batteries, IoT, embedded systems, EV Charger and passionate about contributing to the clean energy ‑revolution.
  • Strong understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts — AC/DC fundamentals, single‑phase/three‑phase systems, power conversion, protection devices, transformers, relays, and measurement principles.
  • Exposure to Linux, Python, Git, or automation frameworks is a plus.
  • Curious, hands‑on, enthusiastic learner with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • Exposure to power electronics such as inverters, converters, batteries, solar PV, or motor‑drive systems through projects or coursework.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with common electrical lab equipment: multimeter, DSO/oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, electronic loads, clamp meters, and wiring too
  • Basic understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, RS‑485, Modbus, SPI, I2C, or Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth is a plus.
  • Good documentation skills ability to write clear observations, reproduce test steps, and report issues accurately.  
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to ask questions, seek guidance, and grow quickly. 
What you will do
  • Learn and execute system test plans for Enphase products and features.
  • Set up and commission end to end lab test systems involving inverters, batteries, EV ‑chargers, controllers, and communication gateways.
  • Work closely with team members to understand system behaviour, testing methods, and expected outcomes.
  • Perform manual and automated test execution, follow procedures, and document results.
  • Log issues in Jira, capture logs, reproduce problems, and perform initial troubleshooting.
  • Participate in design reviews, test readiness reviews, and engineering discussions from a test perspective.
  • Support continuous improvement of test setups, documentation, and automation scripts over time.
  • Collaborate with field and system test teams to convert field issues into reproducible test use cases.
