Enphase has introduced a new technology called Ensemble which allows seamless operation of energy resources such as inverters, battery storage systems, EV chargers and loads to operate in a microgrid environment whether connected to a grid or not. This technology allows us to meet predefined Quality of Service specification and Economic objectives.
Enphase has multiple high-volume manufacturing and test setups globally and is expanding the footprint in USA. You will support these manufacturing test setups and ensure they meet the highest reliability and quality standards in the industry. You will work closely with the production site to monitor, maintain and improve test hardware and software. You will also work with the NPI and design teams to successfully introduce new products into production.
About the role
The job consists of understanding, supporting and improving the test technology, strategy, hardware and software to be deployed at Enphase’s various production facilities. Enphase’s products often carry relatively long warranty in the field, therefore our manufacturing process and test must support the quality required. This often results in unique product features, disciplined manufacturing processes, and rigorous testing.
What you will do
- Working with geographically dispersed teams consisting of Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
- Supporting changes and upgrades to Enphase Production, test hardware and software.
- Coordinating with the NPI, Manufacturing and Quality teams at contract manufacturing sites.
- Developing and documenting test system processes and maintenance routines, including calibration, replacement schedule, repeatability test, etc.
- Coordinating closely with the Mfg. SW Development Team to design and ensure a fault-tolerant test system.
- Maintaining high yield, capacity and supporting the production facilities where the test systems are deployed.
- Driving closed-loop response to factory and field failures (RMA) by identifying test gaps and opportunities.
What you are and What you bring
- B.S./M.S. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or other suitable educational background or work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a electrical/electronic manufacturing test environment. PCBA testing knowledge (ICT, FT) preferred.
- Expertise with power electronics.
- Strong Python or related programming skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Database experience (SQL or similar)
- SPC/DOE knowledge.
- Experience driving Yield Improvement projects.
- Experience improving Manufacturing Test Processes.
- Knowledge of AI tools for software development or data analytics.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining Test Systems in a High-Volume Manufacturing Environment.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $151,000. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
