About the role:
 
Enphase Energy’s Commercial Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment solutions via phone and email to both existing and new commercial customers. This position will be responsible for the complete sales cycle - nurturing the lead, making the sales and post sales follow-up. Experience in direct sales in a call center environment is key to being successful in this role. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business, technical, and leadership skills.  This individual will develop and implement plans and strategies to expand existing customer business and grow the new customer base.
 
What you will do:

•    Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and key performance metrics.
•    Develop an individual sales plan, achieve sales objectives within the assigned territory, and review process quarterly.
•    Create and implement sales strategies and programs for existing and potential accounts. Develop annual objectives and sales action plans, and continuously monitor actual results versus objectives throughout the year.
•    Attend weekly meetings and all regularly scheduled funnel reviews. Prepare periodic activity reports and present them to management as appropriate.
•    Develop and implement plans and structures for communicating promotions, special programs, new products, training initiatives, and other relevant activities to customers.
•    Coordinate with contractors, distributors, Value Added Resellers, Regional Sales Managers and Distribution Account Managers to build and maintain successful, profitable business relationships with existing and potential customers.
•    Handle inbound leads and respond in a timely manner. Conduct outbound calls to existing and potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
•    Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying leads to winning opportunities, ensuring effective pipeline development, engagement, and closing of sales.
•    Proactively offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer and suggest alternative products when a requested product is not available.
•    Maintain and update customer information and sales activities in database (e.g., Salesforce, Excel)
•    Provide initial support for accounts and arrange support from other internal departments as needed.
•    Display knowledge of the company’s product lines and pricing structures.
•    Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge to understand the company’s products, services, and their application to customers.
•    Interpret technical drawings and specification sheets provided by contractors and distributors.

Who you are and what you bring:
 
•    Proven track record of consistent performance, motivating inside sales teams, with a demonstrated capability in selling Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment.
•    2+ years of commercial inside sales experience in the Electric Vehicle Charging industry or 3+ years of general commercial inside sales experience.
•    A career champion with proven ability in mentorship or coaching.
•    Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office for building reports, and other tools to drive productivity.
•    BA/BS degree required or relevant work experience.
•    Experience with solar electric products, electrical applications, and the Nation Electric Code (NEC) is helpful.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills with both external customers and internal employees.
 
The pay range for this position is on-target earnings $60,000 to $69,000 per year. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for equity and benefits.
