Egnyte is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Monetization Infrastructure team. This strategic and high visibility role requires strong knowledge in defining a product vision, understanding SaaS feature delivery mechanism that helps delivers business outcomes and is an ideal opportunity for someone who has the passion and a proven track record in managing product roadmaps with a “bigger picture” perspective.

This role would support business applications and internal systems and work closely with Software Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to define product features and requirements.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for Egnyte’s business-critical enterprise applications,  including Egnyte’s revenue management and provisioning systems, security aspects of system during trial and on-boarding, and cloud-driven device management and monitoring applications.
  • Assist with product release management and readiness, working closely with software engineering and QA teams in different time zones.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate their goals and objectives into product requirements and process flows.
  • Document user stories and functional requirements for all items in the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with the software engineering team on product design and refinement
  • Prepare and deliver roadmap presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Continually improve applications to increase product value and deliver a delightful user experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to launch newly released products to increase stakeholder adoption.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to solve complex problems involving business applications, internal applications, and distributed systems.
  • Establish metrics and processes to improve program visibility and consistency of best practices.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years practical experience working as a Product Manager.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with Agile.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Figma.
  • Good understanding of SaaS/subscription and software licensing models.
  • Experience writing product requirements and user stories.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, along with the passion for continuously refining the product.
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural, globally distributed teams and closely coordinate with cross-functional teams in different time-zones.
  • Experience writing and reviewing technical requirement documents.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS.C in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Experience in billing systems and feature entitlement.
  • Experience with internal applications.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of cloud storage & hybrid storage technologies and internet protocols
  • Experience with databases, data analytics, and reporting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Python (and its ecosystem), Linux development and database concepts,  Java, C, and C++
  • MS in computer science or a related technical field

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $120K - $145K annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
