Job Title: 2025 Summer Students Intern
Ministry/Department: Eleven22 Students
Reports to: Campus Student Minister
Supervisory Role: No
Objective
To build a community that seeks to glorify God by leading students to surrender their lives to Jesus, by making disciples through relevant and engaging ministry to students and their families through The Church of Eleven22® summer internship program.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with ministry area direct report bi-weekly
- Attend Eleven22 Student Ministry meetings as needed
- Run midweek for at least one service every week, as well as prep for all
- Ownership of a serve area on Wednesday night Eleven22 Students
- Spend time each week completing tasks assigned by ministry area direct report i.e. make phone calls, plan outside Wednesday events, social media, games, after party, process financial items, etc.
- Attend Tuesday team meetings, All Staff meetings
- Attend School of Ministry on Wednesday mornings

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some volunteer-based ministry experience preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of work may vary based on the church needs.
The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is an active role where you will require the ability to participate in various activities with students, serve staff, families, staff, etc.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
