As the Sales Commissions Manager, you will be a key member of Team Finance and will own the end-to-end Commission plan process and be responsible for the accurate and timely payout of Commissions and be the single point of contact for questions, escalations, and corrections as required. This role will be the business owner of the Commission tool and be responsible for delivering Leadership updates on plan performance and payout.

What you’ll be doing:      
 
  • Configure and administer sales commissions plans within sales compensation tool (Xactly), ensuring all calculations and payments are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manually administer any sales commissions plans that fall outside of sales compensation tool
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Human Resources, to establish and maintain effective sales commission processes and policies.
  • Assist HR and the business to maintain the company’s commissions plans, including metrics, targets, and payout structures.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure accurate and timely data collection, validation, and integration in the sales compensation tool.
  • Perform regular audits and analysis of commissions data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
  • Provide support and guidance to sales/account management representatives and managers regarding commission plans, calculations, and payouts.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on commission plan performance, including tracking individual and team performance against targets.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends related to commission plan administration, recommending improvements to current processes and systems.
  • Work closely with IA department and outside consultants to enhance and optimize the compensation system, ensuring its accuracy, functionality, and usability.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of commission plans, payments, and related documentation.
 
What we’re looking for:    
 
  • 5+ years in a sales compensation function
  • Proven experience working alongside C-level executives or key business decision makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent years' experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in compensation software. Xactly strongly preferred.
  • Experience technically optimizing a customized sales performance management tool.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office tools, including Excel.
  • Strong data visualization skills. Ability to analyze data from multiple sources for strategic insights to include ROI and risk reduction. Experience showcasing performance data for Leadership.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think conceptually and identify innovative solutions and communicate complex information in a clear and simple way.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience.
  • Must be a team player, working closely with the Sales, Compensation, and Finance teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM (is a plus)
