CARFAX is seeking an Optimization Specialist who will assist in implementing and analyzing A|B tests to improve user experiences and business outcomes.  This role will use the power of testing data to enhance and optimize CARFAX products across the web and app platforms. To do this, you will analyze and communicate the effectiveness of product launches while cross functionally working to provide recommendations on data insights.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and objectives
  • Ensure accurate data collection by setting up tracking mechanisms and validating data integrity through QA.
  • Monitor test performance in real-time to ensure experiments are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Analyze test results using statistical methods to determine the significance and impact of the test variations
  • Create reports summarizing findings, highlighting key metrics, and providing actionable insights.
  • Develop presentations that translate findings/results in a clear concise manner.  
  • Analyze and communicate the effectiveness of new product launches, site changes, and marketing initiatives. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on ideation, creation, development, implementation, analysis and recommendations for all A|B testing initiatives. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for future tests based on data insights and business goals
 
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience with an A|B Testing (e.g. Optimizely/Adobe Target) and an Analytics Platform (e.g (Adobe Analytics) 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel or statistical software like Python, SQL, R
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented with both web and business analysis skills 
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and methods used in AB Testing 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership. Identifies what needs to be done and has a bias toward action. 
  • Results oriented – strong focus on achieving revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals.  
  • Proven track record for problem solving and Quality Assurance (QA) for Product and Analytics implementations 
  • Ability to use metrics to manage programs and measure success  
  • Ability to translate, communicate, and distil metrics into a digestible, actionable marketing framework  
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
