CARFAX is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about building programs that get customers excited about our market-leading products. You will work with one of the world’s most trusted brands with an amazing wealth of data that no other company possesses. We have used this foundation to build a set of solutions already used by tens of thousands of car dealers and service shops, and we expect continued growth. 
 
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the success of our core Dealer business by driving the marketing strategy, messaging and enablement for our flagship product, CARFAX Advantage, and CARFAX Car Listings offerings. This person will work with counterparts across sales, product management, and business development to build a plan that maximizes our sales pipeline and drives strategic growth for the company. At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days per week in the office subject to change with future business needs.
 
What you'll be doing: 
  • Create impactful product messaging and positioning to be used across all channels – sales, web, marketing, etc.  
  • Be a subject matter expert for CARFAX Advantage and CARFAX Car Listings products.
  • Develop thoughtful go-to-market strategies to launch new products and maximize impact to our customers. 
  • Produce compelling enablement tools and programs that appeal to our target audiences and support the sales and account management strategy. 
  • Execute strategies designed to raise awareness, establish our reputation as a thought leader globally, and to drive leads and sales. 
  • Conduct competitive analysis and use those insights with product teams and leadership to develop a winning strategy. 
  • Lead the creation of product-related assets needed to support the product and portfolio. 
  • Communicate marketing plans and ensure alignment across cross-functional stakeholders. 
What we're looking for
 
The successful candidate will be a proven B2B marketer, with evolving knowledge in modern practices and platforms, and energized by the opportunity to build something lasting. The candidate will also have experience working within a sales-driven organization.
  • Proven problem solver driven to tackle and solve complex challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Worked with large sales and account management teams to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Consistent success in transforming creative ideas into impactful marketing messaging and campaigns.
  • Applied data and past insights to craft effective, targeted prospect campaigns.
  • Proven ability to strategically align business efforts to achieve objectives and goals.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present project status, priorities, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experienced in analyzing the business impact of initiatives to inform decisions 
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field required.
  • 12+ years’ experience in a scaled, B2B marketing environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Iterable) preferred.
