As the Data Analytics & Reporting Manager, you will drive reporting, measurement, and insights efforts in the CARFAX Human Resources group. You will work with the organization's key performance indicators developing dashboards, scorecards, forecasting, trending, tracking results for the purpose of supporting operational excellence, management intelligence for effective decision-making, and overall tracking of organizational performance. You will provide structure and consistent guidelines for ensuring quality data and reporting. You will help HR leaders and managers across the organization find ways to work more effectively – we want to maintain and grow Team CARFAX for long term success.
This role has an expectation of 3 days in the office per week, subject to change based on future business needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and oversee the functional Data & Reporting strategy, through the creation of reporting goals and objectives, prioritization of reporting projects and identify areas of growth for the Data and Reporting roadmap.
- Author reports/visualizations and provide general data analysis using available business intelligence tools.
- Oversee development and maintenance of company metrics based on people-related data to analyze issues such as pay, equity, hiring, promotions, turnover, performance and the overall health of the business.
- Design, analyze and distribute periodic reports that highlight relevant data to decision-makers.
- Ensure reporting processes, and procedures are reflected and appropriately documented.
- Use advanced data analysis techniques to interpret and analyze large data sets providing insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of data management plans processes, tools, templates and guidelines that will deliver accurate timelines consistent with quality data.
- Capture, develop, and maintain data definitions, business rules and data quality requirements.
- Interpret, analyze and make recommendations regarding data accuracy and data collection needs and processes.
- Work with managers to apply data to business goals and analytical requirements which may include areas such as workforce planning, volume, forecasting and unit costing.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models
- 3+ years of experience with reporting and information analysis and problem-solving skills gained within a Finance, HR and/or System environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to rapidly analyze, interpret, and integrate data information from multiple sources identifying clear conclusions and recommendations
- Experience in data curation, acquisition, cleaning, and management
- Experience with ADP, Jobvite, Xactly and/or Cognos preferred.
