We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant who is proactive, disciplined, and a true team player with strong leadership, communication, and technical competencies. This role will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. We’re looking for someone who has a solid knowledge of GAAP and can manage multiple assignments under pressure. Key Responsibilities
 
Accounting Operations
  • Prepare and review daily accounting activities including general ledger entry, record keeping, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end closing activities; prepare activities and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate fixed assets, prepaids, accruals and other account balances.
  • Facilitate inter-company invoicing to include currency conversion.
  • Maintain documentation for accounting and internal / external audits.
  • Support external audit processes and coordinate with auditors.
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls and identify process improvements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
  • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum 4-6 years accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel required
  • Experience in accounting operational standards, resolving problems, and identifying system improvements
