Sr. HR Technology Analyst (Contractor)

The Sr. HR Technology Analyst will play an important role in partnering with the existing USA headquarters team providing experience in configurations (Workday and other systems), user acceptance testing and best practices.  You will work directly with HR team and business users to translate employee needs into high-level technical specifications and execute those requirements. Your job will be instrumental in moving the HR Technology Roadmap forward while continually providing a superior employee experience. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with existing team on HR technology roadmap
  • Collect and translate business requirements to configure HR systems
  • Generate final process documentation
  • Evaluate system functional design and make recommendations for continual improvement
  • Plan and execute system and user acceptance testing related to rollout of new functionalities
  • Participate in new technical project evaluations and implementations

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS applications
  • Experience in working with USA headquartered companies
  • Proficient in Workday HCM configurations and UA testing
  • Understand and have interest in cross-functional business requirements collection and process documentation
  • Subject matter experience and systems experience in one or more Human Resource domains, e.g. self-service systems
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

Preferred qualifications:

  • MA/MS degree
  • Experience working with systems that handle sensitive data
  • Successful track record working on cross-functional, cross-team projects
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Ability to learn a new business domain and build subject matter expertise in a short period
  • Strong analytical skills
