Job Description Overview:
Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading our commercial marketing digital content initiatives. The role requires a unique blend of strong writing skills, email marketing expertise, and a deep understanding of social media trends. This candidate will be responsible for creating compelling written content, managing our social media presence, and planning and executing high-performing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, leads, and revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and SEO/GEO-optimized content (blogs, white papers, case studies, newsletters, website copy, etc.)
- Craft messaging that aligns with the brand’s tone, positioning, and business goals
- Plan, write, and manage email marketing campaigns (newsletters, lifecycle emails, promotional campaigns)
- Use A/B testing and segmentation to improve open rates, CTRs, and conversions
- Work with design and development teams to build and optimize responsive email templates
- Create and implement social media strategies aligned with marketing goals
- Monitor audience engagement and community management
- Track and analyze performance, report on key metrics, and make data-driven improvements
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and email metrics
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Premiere)
Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in content writing and social media management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and proactive in taking on new challenges
Working Conditions:
- Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time
- May involve travel to meetings, events, and conventions
$68,640-$80,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
