The Community Marketing Manager will lead ASUS and ROG’s community engagement strategy in North America, focusing on building meaningful relationships with end users and driving measurable brand advocacy.
This role owns ROG Elite Rewards, ASUS Membership, and community channels including Reddit and forums, while supporting marketing operations in collaboration with the Social Media Marketing Lead on content strategy, campaign execution, and event activations.

The ideal candidate combines strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong community instincts to turn engagement into brand growth and loyalty. This is an individual contributor role requiring cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external agency partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Community Strategy & Management

  • Lead ASUS and ROG’s community engagement strategy across North America to strengthen end-user relationships and brand advocacy.
  • Own and manage ROG Elite Rewards and ASUS Membership programs to drive engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Oversee Reddit and forum engagement: monitor trends, identify key discussions, and coordinate responses with global and local teams.
  • Develop community-driven initiatives that reflect ASUS and ROG’s brand voice and resonate with gaming and tech audiences.
  • Build and maintain authentic relationships with end users, influencers, and brand advocates.

Program & Campaign Execution

  • Collaborate with Social Media, Product Marketing, Event, and PR teams to integrate community programs into product and campaign launches.
  • Plan and execute community activations, loyalty campaigns, and member engagement incentives that align with overall marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, creative briefs, and deliverables with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Insights & Analytics

  • Monitor community sentiment and engagement metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations for program improvements.
  • Use Excel, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics dashboards to assess data and optimize community growth and ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HQ, agency partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent tone, messaging, and campaign execution.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Social Media teams to align community initiatives with product roadmaps.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on loyalty programs and online community engagement.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of online community dynamics, loyalty programs, and tiered reward experiences.
  • Proficient in CRM, Excel, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, JIRA, and social listening tools (e.g., Talkwalker or similar).
  • Analytical thinker with experience interpreting data to develop actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in gaming communities authentically.
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment requiring flexibility and initiative.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in marketing, Advertising, Business

 

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in community marketing, digital marketing, or social engagement, preferably in gaming, consumer electronics, or tech.
  • Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience accepted.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing community or loyalty programs (online or in-store).
  • Familiarity with Reddit, Discord, and online forum best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in campaign and event planning.
  • Passion for gaming, consumer electronics, and PC hardware.

Working Conditions:

  • Typically works in an office environment.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
  • Approximately 30% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel for events or community activations.

 

$90,000 -$120,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
