The Product Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and activities directly related to management and maintenance of product life-cycle. The Product Manager will also help with developing and maintaining business relationships along with the sales and marketing team. This position requires interaction with Marketing, Warehouse, Sales, External Partners, and HQ. To be successful in this role you are self-motivated, energetic, organized, detail oriented and have passion for computers and technology. The product coverage primarily focuses on Power Supply/ Case/ Case/ Case fan/ AIO cooler, with additional collaboration on other OPBG products.
     
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
         
  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Components product line, aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Product Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels. Ensure production schedules are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities and constraints. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, and production issues. Communicate production plans and schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the PC industry.
  • Roadmap Planning: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Launch and Positioning: Drive successful product launches, developing compelling positioning and messaging to maximize market impact.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training programs.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product features, functionality, and user experience.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate product performance against these metrics.
Required Qualifications:
    
Years of Education 
    
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
    
  • 3+ years of experience in product management (Power Supply/ Case/ Case fan/ AIO cooler experience is a plus), business development in technology industry. 
Knowledge and Skills
        
  • Able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Exercise good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Able to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Ability to understand and respond to a diverse population.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Able to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate. environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
  • Experience creating reports, especially on Excel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin is a plus. 
Preferred Qualifications:
       
  • Experience with Oracle ERP system.
  • Up to date with industry trends and business models. 
Working Conditions:
         
  • Typically works in an office environment.
  • Travel up to 25% when needed for events and customer visits.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time. 
$80,000 - $120,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California or City of Industry, California office. It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k). The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
