The candidate will be responsible for SI/PI simulations on ASUS product lines (Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Motherboards, Graphics Cards, Phones, IoT Devices, etc.). From the early design stage to mass production, the candidate will be expected to function both independently and collaborate across different functional teams (EE, Layout, etc.) to analyze simulation results and deliver recommendations and/or solutions to projects on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting SI and PI simulations on ASUS product lines (Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Motherboards, Graphics Cards, Phones, IoT Devices, etc.).
• Analyze simulation results and provide accurate and effective design recommendations to enhance overall system performance.
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze simulation results and provide recommendations and/or solutions to meet product requirements from the early design stage to mass production.
• Improve system architecture designs and implement changes across all product lines to enhance system stability and performance.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and transmission line theory.
• Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation software (HFSS, SIWave, Sigrity, CST, ADS, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems with a data-driven approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

•  BS in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or above.

 Work Experience

•   0~3 years of experience in SI/PI simulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering specializing in areas related to SI/PI.
• Bi-lingual in Mandarin.

Working Conditions:

• Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.
• Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
• Occasional travel may be required -Approx 10% of travel, domestic (OR, CA, MO, AZ, IL, TX, PA)
